A Safe Space

At JRS, people access critical support. Many of our programs, like JRS English classes and our employment program, are designed to promote agency, independence and community.

Programs for people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants

Pictured above: Our JRS team packing food packs for our COVID-19 Foodbank Delivery Service at the main community space. As of October 2020, our JRS Refugee Foodbank now feeds up to 910 people per week. The programs below have also been transitioned to COVID-19 safe distancing methods, with the exception of community development and English classes which will likely be resumed in better times.
