Hava Rezaie is a powerful leader, advocate, and activist for people seeking asylum, refugees, and women at risk of violence. As a trained lawyer, former government official in Afghanistan, former refugee, and community leader in Australia, Hava has always fought for people on the margins.
Hava is also an Advisory Committee member of the JRS Finding Safety Project. JRS Australia is privileged to collaborate with leaders like Hava as well as other lived-experience leaders, like Idrissa, Sajeeda and others.

Idrissa is an advocate, community organiser, former teacher, journalist, and passionate activist for the rights of women in his home country in Africa. In Australia, Idrissa has consistently raised awareness about the plight of people seeking asylum in the community in meetings with politicians, in parishes and in schools.
