Self-empowerment

The JRS Women’s Space supports women seeking asylum and women on temporary visas in building confidence, self-esteem and self-advocacy skills.

Through the Women’s Space, JRS supports women seeking asylum and women on other temporary visas to build confidence, self-esteem and self-advocacy skills. The Finding Safety Project also organises important women’s empowerment events, such as International Women’s Day, with guest speakers, skills based workshops and information stalls on education and employment opportunities for women seeking asylum.
