The work of the JRS Finding Safety Project is cutting edge. It bridges gaps between the refugee sector and DV so that women don't slip between the cracks.
Capacity building for the sector
JRS has in-house expertise on gender, violence against women and girls, working with refugees and people seeking asylum who can offer one-off advice and access to professional support, as well as tailored training packages for organisations working with asylum seeking and refugee women experiencing or at-risk of DFV. JRS has trained the asylum sector and the DV sector on the intersections between these areas and has also trained different authorities on asylum and SGBV.
