Thank you for being an invaluable member of the JRS Australia Community.

Because of your acts of generosity, we are able to accompany, serve and advocate for and with over 3,000 refugees and people seeking asylum each year.

Together, we all contribute to a global mosaic of peace: a community dedicated to standing in solidarity with those experiencing adversity, and through simple acts of kindness, fraternity, and dialogue, building a more peaceful and inclusive world.

We offer our unique threads to the fabric of our global community, and in doing so we are implicated in the stories of our brothers and sisters living through conflict, crisis, violence and adversity across the world.

For people who have been forcibly displaced from their homes and are seeking our protection, the fabric we weave together provides an essential safety net.

At JRS Australia, volunteers, community members, staff, and leaders with lived experience come together to provide specialist casework, emergency relief, employment and advocacy support to refugees and people seeking asylum in Australia – and we could not do this without your generosity and commitment to our mission.

While one thread alone may appear fragile, together we can take actions in our daily life to weave hope, kindness, love and peace into the fabric of our global community.  

Like artisans who use their skills, passion, and creativity to craft unique works of art, we too continue to devote our time and care to creating a peaceful and inclusive Australian community that welcomes and uplifts refugees and people seeking asylum.

We are so proud to have you in this community. We are, as Pope Francis identifies, a community of peace artisans.

As the year enters full swing, we hope you will continue to join us in this movement, grow our community of peace artisans, and support JRS Australia in the important work we do.
